Lauris Zailaa' is a Lebanese and Dubai based artist who identifies as a Third Culture Kid.
Her practice spans contemporary fine art, modern Arabic calligraphy, and sculpture. Her work is intuitive and layered, shaped by identity, movement, and lived experience.
In 2016, Lauris was the Grand Winner of the International Emerging Art Award. She has since collaborated with internationally recognised platforms, including MB&F, where her ONELOVE collection was selected as the Limited Artist Edition for QLOCKTWO. Her work has also been featured across more than 1,100 digital screens throughout Dubai and Abu Dhabi, including DIFC bridges, curated by Emerging Scene.
She is best described by her mentor, the late Alan Fletcher, who once said:
"I love working with Lauris. She looks left when everyone else looks right."
